Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the FaithGuard Kenya portal at tryfaithguard.com, the FaithGuard apps and related services ("the Service"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The Service

FaithGuard provides content filtering, safe search, app management and a family dashboard for the devices you enrol. It reduces exposure to harmful content but no filter is perfect; the Service supports, and does not replace, parental supervision.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose device you enrol. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Free trial

New family accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No payment is needed to start. When the trial ends, protection pauses until a plan is paid for.

4. Plans and M-Pesa payments

• Family plans are prepaid: Family Monthly at KES 499 per month and Family Yearly at KES 4,999 per year, in Kenyan shillings, inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payments are made with M-Pesa through a Lipa na M-Pesa prompt that you confirm on your phone. We never take a payment without your confirmation.
• Your plan is active from the moment Safaricom confirms the payment and runs for the period paid for. We remind you before it ends.
• Prices may change; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

5. Refunds

If FaithGuard does not work on your devices and our support team cannot resolve it within 7 days of your first payment, we will refund that payment to the M-Pesa number it came from. Otherwise prepaid periods are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time and keep using the Service until the period ends.

6. Church and school plans

Group plans are set out in a separate partner agreement, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to monitor adults without their knowledge, to interfere with devices you do not own or control, or to attempt to bypass, reverse engineer or resell it.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, FaithGuard is not liable for indirect losses, or for content a filter fails to block. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.
